Privacy Policy
This policy explains what WriterBridge processes to run the author workspace, translate chapters, meter credits, and support customer requests.

Information we collect
WriterBridge may collect account information such as name, email address, login details, billing status, plan information, support messages, uploaded manuscript text, story metadata, chapter text, glossary terms, character names, story bible/context notes, translation outputs, export files, usage logs, token and cost records, payment-related records, device/browser metadata, IP address, and security logs.
How we use information
We use information to provide account access, process translation jobs, maintain story workspaces, calculate usage credits, support users, improve reliability, detect abuse, investigate rights complaints, comply with legal obligations, operate billing systems, secure the service, and communicate about account or payment activity.
Manuscript privacy
Uploaded manuscripts are not public by default. We do not sell user manuscripts. Access to manuscript content is limited to providing the service, troubleshooting, security, legal compliance, rights complaints, or support requests.
AI providers and processors
To provide AI-assisted translation, WriterBridge may send relevant chapter text, source language, target language, glossary terms, character names, story bible/context notes, and instructions to AI model providers and infrastructure processors. We limit shared information to what is needed to provide the requested service.
Where available, WriterBridge uses paid or business API settings intended to prevent customer prompts and outputs from being used to train provider models. Provider terms can change, and different providers may apply different data handling rules.
Payments
Payment information may be processed by Paddle or another payment processor. Paddle may act as Merchant of Record for paid purchases and may process payment details, billing address, tax information, invoices, receipts, refunds, fraud checks, and payment support. WriterBridge does not need to store full payment card numbers.
Service providers
WriterBridge may use service providers for hosting, databases, authentication, AI processing, payments, usage metering, observability, analytics, email, and support. These providers may process data in the United States, Europe, Asia, or other locations where they operate.
Data retention and deletion
Users may request account or manuscript deletion by contacting support@writerbridge.app. We aim to delete or de-identify manuscript content when it is no longer needed for the service, unless retention is required for billing, security, backups, dispute handling, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate business needs.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of account and manuscript data by contacting support. Some requests may require identity verification, and some information may be retained where required or permitted by law.
